Church building
église Saint-Aignan de Senlis
Saint-Aignan Church is a former Catholic church located 5-7 rue de Beauvais in Senlis (Oise), France. She was disused to the Revolution, then her nave was demolished in 1806 and the rest of the building turned into a theatre. Despite careful restoration during the 1980s and the development as a cultural space, the old church is now abandoned and forbidden access for security reasons. The historical importance of the vestige lies in the role of the 11th century Romanesque bell tower for the other Romanesque bell towers in the region.
