About

The church of Saint-André de Boissy-l'Aillerie is the parish church of the municipality of Boissy-l'Aillerie in Val-d'Oise. It consisted of a Romanesque nave of the twelfth and a Gothic choir of the thirteenth century. Ruined by the end of the 18th century, the church remained in a state of abandonment for a long time before the choir was rebuilt between 1848 and 1850.

The nave and bell tower will not be rebuilt and only minor remains still remind that the church was initially larger. The choir, however, is generous in size and has an elevation on three levels, with low sides, triforium and high bays. Despite successive reconstructions, its architecture remains very homogeneous.
