The church Saint-Bertrand is a religious building located in the city of Le Mans, in the southern train station district. The church was founded in 1913, in honour of Bertrand, the presumed founder of the Couture monastery in the seventh century, in a new parish, the first in the city since the concordat of 1801.

The church, although started in 1913, was not completed until 1923, war forced. It is built on the supposed place of the former Royal Oratory of the Maulny Ge. It has proved to be unreliable and, above all, unresistant. On 11 February 1990, it was severely damaged following a violent storm in the city. After a few months, Bishop Georges Gilson decided to demolish him. If the first church was built to respond to the workers' expansion of the city, the parishioners again want to be heard about the reconstruction of the building. With the new proximity of the southern station and the arrival of the TGV, the residents are aware of the relative importance that the church of their neighbourhood can have.
