église Saint-Martin de Grand Îlet
The Saint-Martin church of Grand Îlet is a Catholic church on the island of Réunion, French overseas department in the southwest of the Indian Ocean. Located in the natural circus of Salazie and on the territory of the municipality of the same name, it is the most remarkable building in the village of Grand Îlet, an island of the Hauts de La Réunion. In fact, the church has been listed as a Historic Monument since December 19, 1982.
The stained glass windows were made by Réunion master glassmaker Guy Lefèvre. They represent Saint Martin and Saint Louis-Marie Grignon de Monfort, supplemented by a rosace above the entrance to the abstract motif.
