église Sainte-Maure-et-Sainte-Brigide de Nogent-sur-Oise
The church Sainte-Maure-et-Sainte-Brigide is a parish Catholic church located in Nogent-sur-Oise, in the centre of Creil, in the department of Oise, France. Of modest dimensions, however, it is of great archaeological interest for its exceptional three-storey Romanesque bell tower with three bays per face, richly decorated, and for its Gothic choir hall radiating from a rare homogeneity and harmony, built with a single line shortly before the middle of the thirteenth century. The nave and transept are very simple, but over nine centuries old, also deserve attention.
Because of its wealth, the church was classified very early as historical monuments in 1846, among the first churches in the department. It is affiliated with the parish of All Saints of Northern Creillois.
