The Pont Brunon Valette dit Pont Bowstring (1947) is one of twenty bridges built in the commune of Rive-de-Gier, in the commune of Loire. It is called Bowstring Bridge because of the English bow string. It was built by the Haour Frères Establishments at the request of Barthélémy Valette for the Brunon Valette plant which became the S.S.F.R.

It was built with bias and was commissioned in November 1947. This bridge allowed for freight transport and access to the railway
