The Protestant temple of Arcachon is a place of worship located in the City of Winter of Arcachon, Gironde. The parish is a member of the United Protestant Church of France.

History: In the 19th century, the Bordeaux Protestant bourgeoisie came to resort on the Arcachon basin. In 1857, an imperial decree of Napoleon III formed the commune of Arcachon, separating it from La Teste-de-Buch. That year, a Gothic chapel dedicated to Sainte-Cécile was built by private individuals boulevard de la plage (current rue Claude-Bouscau). But the Catholic Church refuses to appoint a servant there, and no Mass is celebrated there. The Bordeaux Protestants Hovy, Couve and Hernozant then bought the chapel, which was transformed into a temple and inaugurated on 11 July 1858. It was purchased by the Reformed Consistory of Bordeaux in 1866, and also served for Anglican faithful. The first pastors came from Bordeaux (temple du Ha), until the appointment of a pastor in 1882. The temple was restored in 1906. The portal then includes a bas-relief of an open Bible, a traditional symbol of reformed churches.
