temple antique de Cahors
The Gallo-Roman temple of Cahors is an ancient cult building of the fanum type built in the city of Divona Cadurcorum, today Cahors in the French department of Lot. This large, 22-m-diameter fanum temple is probably built in the second half of the first century and abandoned three centuries later. He seems dedicated to the cult of Divona, the tutelary goddess of the city. His remains were excavated in 2002 during the renovation of the hospital in Cahors and re-encrusted after study.
