About

Saint-Martin Church is a Catholic parish church located in Borest, Oise department, France. His story is not well known. The interesting mid-12th century portal is the oldest part of the church.

The choir with a flat bedside lighted by a triplet, its two side chapels and the small bell tower form a coherent set of Gothic style, which is distinguished by its refined counting, and derives its influence from the Cistercian architecture and the nearby Chaalis Abbey. The nave and its unique side were rebuilt in the second quarter of the 16th century in the flamboyant Gothic style, and are also of a neat construction, although economic constraints forced to concentrate the decorative effort on the interior. Saint Martin's church was listed as a historical monument by order of 5 April 1930, and is generally in a good state of conservation.

It is now affiliated with the parish of Saint-Rieul in Senlis, and Sunday Masses are celebrated on the first Sunday of the month at 10:30 a.m. and on the third Sunday of October to April.
