The living museum of the horse is a museum and an equestrian performance hall located in the Grandes Écuries of the Château de Chantilly, in Chantilly in the Oise (Hauts-de-France). It was opened to the public in 1982 to welcome the living museum of the Horse, completely renovated in 2013. This museum, designed for all audiences, tells more than 200 objects and works of art about the importance of the relationship between man and horse since the beginning of civilizations and offers "living" equestrian animations, educational presentations and equestrian shows.
