The forage park is a former storage park for horses of the Royal Army, then French imperial, located in the former commune of Pontlieue, which has since become a district of the city of Le Mans. Redesigned in green space in 2010, it was inaugurated in spring 2011. The toponym "Forage park" is found in other cities that have inherited military planning: in Batna (Algeria) this name is still in force in 2021.
