église Saint-Louis de Grenoble
The church Saint-Louis is a parish church in Grenoble, France, dependent on the diocese of Grenoble-Vienne. Although the entrance gate overlooks the rue Félix-Poulat, the parish secretariat is located at 1 rue de Sault (parvis de l'Abbé Pierre), in the Hypercentre district of Grenoble. The building was founded at the end of the 17th century at the request of Bishop Le Camus, Bishop of Grenoble, also responsible for the construction of the church of Saint Joseph in Grenoble, which consecrated it in 1699 and dedicated it to Saint Louis. The latter wanted to create two parishes in the new districts of the city, Saint-Louis in the city and Saint-Joseph outside the walls, in the suburbs of the same name.
