église Saint-Vaast d'Angicourt
Saint Vaast Church in Angicourt is a parish Catholic church located in Angicourt, Oise commune. In Gothic style, with the exception of the southern crusillon, a chapel oriented and two quarters of piles of the bell tower which are late Romanesque, the church comes from two work campaigns. The first concerns the nave, its sides and the southern crusillon and is located around 1170 / 1180; the second concerns the choir hall of twice two spans and is located around 1240 / 1245.
This choir is noticed by its generous dimensions and its large windows with elegant reamping, while the nave is an interesting witness to the first Gothic. Its sexpartite vaults are exceptional for a rural church and lead to an original arrangement of supports. Although classified early as historical monuments by list of 1862, the church remained in a state close to ruin until its complete restoration in the first half of the 20th century.
It is affiliated with the parish of Saint-Martin du Liancourtois.
